A Stranger

I feel like a stranger to my own blog. How long has it been since I've written on here? Looks like about a week and a half. I miss you blogging friends. It's been a hectic pace around here. Some things of my own doing and some that have just been forced upon me.

Many of you already know that my sister Leola passed away early this morning. She had been in the hospital the past couple of weeks where they found she had cancer in several places . She underwent two major surgeries in eight days. It was just too much for her body to recover from.

Life....such a precious thing, as many of us were reminded today on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. I spoke for a few minutes to our church family on that subject. Just a couple of weeks ago in the pregnancy center where I volunteer I was able to talk with a women who wanted to abort the baby she was carrying. She did have very desperate circumstances....no doubt of that. But I asked her if she thought that ending the pregnancy would really solve her problems or make them worse. In the end she decided to keep the baby. Please pray that she would also eventually come to know the Lord in a personal way as she attends her parenting classes.

Please keep my family in your prayers this week.

God bless!

Marilyn

Oh Marilyn, I am so glad you blogged today...but I have to tell you that you were on my mind all day yesterday. I'm sooo very sorry about Mrs. Leola. We put the family on our prayer list at church. You've just had alot going on the past few months. Seems like it's that way sometimes, but it doesn't make it any easier. Tell me about Leola's family...did she have children, etc. I haven't looked at the paper yet, her obit may be in there. Anyway...I am praying for you and your sweet family.

And what a blessing you were to that young lady at Sav A Life...God surely smiled at your love and concern....no doubt, He has great plans for that little baby! (as he does for ALL)

You take care...and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
An hour or so is not too far to drive for a friend!

Love,
Liesa

When life takes over, Marilyn, you need to break from routine and take good care of yourself. I am so very sorry to learn of your sister's death. What an incredible loss for you and her entire family. I pray that God's tenderness and grace be especially kind to you over these mellow days of mourning. I'm here for you in any way I can be of help, sister.

Love you.

Hi Marilyn, I'm stopping by from the KJV Directory. The events from the dentist office is all to familiar at our house. My poor husband and son are scared to death (literally) of the dentist.
