Snow! Again!

(Our dog Blackie LOVES romping in the snow! I think he may have some Husky blood!)

Just wanted to share some pictures of a rare phenomena with you.....the second snowfall in MISSISSIPPI in less than a month! We don't usually get this kind of weather on a regular basis here in the South! We woke up to a beautiful blanket of snow on the ground and snowflakes falling in almost whiteout conditions!
(View from back porch. If you look closely you can see our old barn through the trees)
Very quickly the amount of snow started increasing! Looks like we may have at least 5 inches or so
by now! And it's still snowing!

(Hubby requested snow cream first thing! Have to admit it was delish! May have had something to do with the Mexican vanilla I put in it!)

I just love that when the snow comes and covers everything in a thick white blanket I can look out my window and where there was "junk" lying around, it's all covered with beautiful pure white snow! And isn't that a great reminder of what God does with our "junky" lives when we come to Him for salvation?

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1: 18

So, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Personally, I'm ready for the snow to stop coming our way! I'm used to snow, but enough is enough! Yes, it is pretty, but it sure creates alot of work clearing it out. Unfortunately, ours won't be melting any time soon.
Oh, I forgot, I'm supposed to be encouraging people this week...well, you can be encouraged by the fact that your snow won't stick around until march, april, or may!
Btw, did I tell you we're having a challenge at the KJV blog...trying to visit every member during the month of february. Hope you can join in!

Yes, the snow is beautiful. When we first moved to Ohio, I thought it was beautiful. I know how you feel. But, after living 6 winters in Alaska, you can keep all the snow you want. ha! Glad I am in S. Georgia now! Enjoy it!

Yes, the snow is pretty, especially for us southerners.
We had one snow in our area of the south land, louisiana.
But I already know I would perfer the rainy seasons. Although the weather says we may get a little this week.

Hi Marilyn, I was wondering how much snow you got! Can you believe we got zero, zip, none!!!!
But, it sure is cold here and they say its going to get even colder. I'll be found in the house watching Biggest Loser tonight! lol. How is your sisters family doing? How are you? I keep you in my prayers. One of our ladies at church lost her sister Saturday. Her funeral was today.
Well, enjoy your snow cream and all the beauty. The pictures are just gorgous!

Stay warm!

Love,
Liesa
